So interesting thing, the Stow N Go storage areas for the Chrysler are pretty much exactly two cases of beer each. I would say it’s a wonderful coincidence, but being Mopar, it’s more likely by design. If i got in closer with the camera, you would see that there is ~1” on all sides of the two cases, and were they bottles, the lid would just clear them. These being cans, there was space vertically.

No purpose, but it's very good for tailgating.

Or in the case of Yuengling - to make a run East of the Mississippi to get some and dash back since they STILL don’t sell it points West.

They don’t sell it in Michigan, and despite the balls-crazy amazing beer in that state friends of mine beg me to bring it when I visit. I’m amazed how expensive it is elsewhere. In NJ it’s priced like Bud Light. Elsewhere it’s priced like a micro.

I know for a fact that the Ram Box was designed with beer storage in mind :)

My car was full of Bells on the drive back west!

No idea why other vans don’t have big underfloor storage like this. I would love to see it in the Odyssey or Sienna as well, since the ‘Lazy Susan’ system in the third gen Ody was hopelessly awkward and useless...

Sounds familiar. My family knew Larry Bell from around 1987 on. Pretty great that hens been able to make it work for over 30 years now.

From what I understand it’s a patent issue. I asked the same questions for a while. I love it because my house doesn’t really have a garage for storage, and I can bring bigger isms places and then have seat with me.

Well it seems that other companies could come up with a different design unless the entire concept is patented? Seems a bit fishy to me...

I agree. I’m just relaying what I was told, so take it with a grain of salt, it’s not admissable in court, haha. I know Toyota’s issue is that under-floor storage would interfere with their optional AWD and also where they hang the spare tire. Which is why the AWD Sienna gets those terrible run-flat tires.

Ah, well in our generation Ody they put it in the trunk area on one side, great place actually because it’s easy to get to while still being unintrusive...however, the touted Lazy Susan that replaced the former spare wheel location is simply awful; too low for temporary storage and too small to haul groceries or luggage...

The Mopar twins put it under the driver basically.

What’s with all the love for Yuengling? Sure it’s a good beer, but nothing special. It’s just a solid beer. I know a few people who act like it’s the best thing since sliced bread

It’s an East Coast thing - like Rolling Rock.
